Harmonious Relationship with the Land:

We strive to create designs that resonate with our customers' relationship with the land around them, using plants native to the bioregion and sustainable materials to foster ecosystems that thrive and flourish for many years to come. We are land stewards first and estheticians second.

Meet your garden bestie, Sayvanna!

Thank you so much for being curious about Garden of Venus and our work to create more resilient and abundant spaces! My name is Sayvanna and I specialize in residential and community garden design, edible landscapes, farming, herbalism and education. I’m a Certified Permaculture Designer and Agricultural Educator passionate about helping you cultivate a love for the land around you whether it be food, medicine or other spiritual practices.

My background in agriculture, animal sciences, youth development and land-based spiritual practices led me to appreciate not only a deep respect for the living world but an enthusiasm to learn as much as I can from our plant and animal kin around us.

While I’ll never consider myself an expert, I do aim to approach each project with both technical knowledge and deep respect for living systems. Her work blends ecological design principles, indigenous practices, and attentive collaboration to create gardens that are functional, resilient, and beautiful—spaces that nourish both people and place.

When not designing gardens, she can often be found growing their own food or tending to her ever-active sourdough starter, June or being followed by her six pound fur shadow, Tobias.

These days I garden on family owned rural land or on some acreage in the Dominican Republic, where I maintain raised beds, garden rows, fruit trees, poultry and more.

I’m so excited to help you create your own organic Foodscape and I can’t wait to grow with you!
