Design
Tailored designs for residential and commercial properties that integrate sustainable practices. Designs range from simple plant placement and consultation services for clients with gardening experience or old pros who just want a little assistance, to layouts with full instructions, plant names, sizing and care, all drawn out for the garden enthusiast who needs help turning their vision into reality. After an initial consultation meeting, a design will be drafted for your garden based on your individual needs.

Our design process:
1
Site Assessment
Every good design starts with an understanding of the existing conditions. We assess key factors such as sun, soil, water, vegetation, and more, and compile them in an easy-to-understand report that informs the design process. The level of analysis varies based on the complexity of the site and context of the design.
2
Concept Design
During the concept phase, we organize the key components of the design into a cohesive plan that is illustrated on the map. This phase often involves meetings, drafts, reviews, and revisions.
3
Master Plan
You'll receive a detailed Master Plan Map that illustrates the final plan and guides the path to installation. You'll also receive a customized Design Manual that helps you confidently learn about and enjoy your landscape. With property-specific harvest calendars, a clear garden map, and easy-to-follow plant profiles, you’ll know exactly how to care for, harvest, and use the abundance growing right outside your door.
Our Design Ethos is rooted in the following principles:
Harmonious Relationship with the Land:
We strive to create designs that resonate with our customers' relationship with the land around them, using plants native to the bioregion and sustainable materials to foster ecosystems that thrive and flourish for many years to come. We are land stewards first and estheticians second.
